Come and learn what can save your pets life and give to save other lives across the world? This a 2hr interactive class where 30-40 people can sign up,. including the public, and bring their pet - a well behaved dog, leashed, vaccinated, works well with other dogs, to learn various 1st aid techniques hands on.
We first discuss how to assess your pet, teaching temperature taking, pulses, gum color, resp rate, heart rate, alertness, etc. We break into groups so everyone can learn this on each others pet as well. Then the second half touches on disaster prep, emergency transport, bandaging, tourniquet placement, even CPR if we have time.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, you can bring your well-behaved vaccinated dog on a secure leash.
