Yoga RX For Teens

This class is a clinically informed yoga class designed to help teens overcome excessive worry.  Run by Teresa Iapalucci.

Classes consist of education, group discussion and mindful yoga practice. Teens will learn about the cause and effects of anxiety on the body and mind and strategies to manage it. Teens will be introduced to yoga philosophy and learn breathing and relaxation techniques. This includes the development of a personal mindfulness practice. Participants will be better equipped to manage stress, set goals, try new activities and respond to anxiety with success. Home practice assignments will be offered and strongly encouraged. Please bring a 3 ring binder and a yoga mat.
