Sailing Lessons (Spring)

Whether the child is an experienced sailor or just starting out, Deckhands provides an opportunity learn or advance sailing skills while working with others in a cooperative environment. It is open to children 9-15 years old with the swimming capability of 75 yards and treading water for 3 minutes. Lifejackets are provided. This program allows for each participant to learn the required skills to skipper their own boat.

RPCS has taken the Deckhands program and customized it for the younger sailor. Open to children 7-9 with the swimming capability of 25 yards. Proof of swimming capability by certified lifeguard accepted. Lifejackets provided.
