Incrediflix Filmmaking Programs, Ages 7-13

For ages 7-13! These programs are focused on expanding imagination and creativity using hands on activities.  Kids will learn brainstorming, story structure, and story boarding in all programs.  In animation programs, kids will create characters, backgrounds, film, and do voice-overs.  In filmmaking programs, kids will location scout, act, film, and learn filmmaking strategies. All flix will be professionally edited and downloadable within a month after camp ends.  Lunch supervision included if signed up for both morning and afternoon sessions. Run by instructors from IncrediFlix.



 

Animation Flix, August 10—14, 9am-12pm:
In this fast paced camp, students will create up to 5 stop-motion animated flix! Each day you’ll use a new style of stop-motion, combining the favorites of past years with some completely new styles, making this camp new each year for everyone to enjoy! It's the ultimate arts and crafts camp where campers create, direct, and film their movies in age-appropriate groups.

Imagination Flix, August 10-14, 1-4pm:
Take your characters underwater, to a volcano, or even to outer space! In this exciting stop-motion animation camp, there are no limits to where your imagination can take you. You’ll brainstorm, create your very own clay characters (that you keep), choose the backgrounds, film your movies using a green screen, and add voice-overs, while working in age-appropriate groups.

Live Action Flix, August 17-21, 9am-12pm:
Do you want to have a blast making a movie? You don’t have to be an actor to star in these movies that you make from “Action” to “That’s a wrap.” We’ll guide you through the Hollywood process as you brainstorm, location scout, bring in props and costumes, act and direct in a collaborated movie that will be fun for the entire audience.

Lego Flix, August 17-21, 1-4pm:
We know you love Legos and can create incredible Lego worlds, now it’s time to bring those worlds to life in Lego Stop-Motion Animated Flix! We provide the Legos, and you provide your imagination. Students will create a Lego set with Lego characters for a movie they storyboard, write, shoot, and voice-over in age-appropriate groups.

  • Kids can be enrolled in both morning and afternoon sessions, and have supervised lunch.
  • Please bring a snack and water bottle, and bagged lunch if attending both sessions.
