Girls Volleyball

The emphasis is on teaching the correct technique so that kids can excel in all phases of the game. The hour is broken down into 40 minute of drills and 20 minutes of scrimmage. Kids will also learn how to communicate on the court, create a cheer or two, learn some cool volleyball jargons, meet new friends and along the way learn to love volleyball. The main emphasis is to teach kids to compete within themselves and against others. This is a great opportunity to introduce girls to the great game of volleyball.

Jack Wong has been involved with youth sports for over 12 years. He currently lives in Southborough where he used to coach town/travel soccer and basketball. He also served as Girls Travel Director for the Southborough Youth Soccer Program. He currently coaches volleyball, basketball, and baseball at The Fay School in Southborough. In addition, Jack coaches for CMASS Junior Volleyball Club and Basketball Specialist School AAU program. He encourages youths to compete within the rules of the game as best as they can and regardless of the final score, learn that they will always be successful.

Come and join us for a fun week of volleyball! Kids will be taught the fundamentals of volleyball from bumping and setting, to spiking and serving. The emphasis will be on teaching the correct techniques so that kids can excel in all phases of the game. Kids will also learn how to communicate on the court, create a cheer or two, learn some cool volleyball jargons, meet new friends, and, along the way learn to love volleyball. The main emphasis is to teach kids to compete within themselves and against others. All levels of play welcome. Two courts will be set up so we can separate the levels of play.
